West Ham United can confirm midfielder Patrick Kelly has joined EFL League One club Barnsley on a permanent transfer.
The Northern Ireland U21 international departs after three seasons as a Hammer, having joined from NIFL Premiership side Coleraine in 2022.
Kelly played 18 times for West Ham's U18s and 28 times for the U21s, scoring three goals and registering eight assists in total. He also started in all but one round as the U18s became FA Youth Cup champions for the fourth time in 2023.
The 20-year-old spent the 2024/25 season with Doncaster Rovers, with whom he won the EFL League Two title, and will now continue his career in England’s third tier.
