West Ham United Head Coach Nuno Espírito Santo has had plenty of success to celebrate during his long and illustrious career.
After an 18-year career as a goalkeeper with clubs in Portugal, Spain and Russia, during which he was part of squads which won the UEFA Champions League and Intercontinental Cup, represented his country at the 1996 Olympic Games and was called into the senior Portugal squad for UEFA Euro 2008, Nuno has established himself as an elite head coach.
Now 51, Nuno has been coaching since 2010, and a head coach since 2012, when he was appointed by Rio Ave aged just 38.
He guided Rio Ave, Porto, Valencia, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest into Europe, won a Saudi Pro League title with Al-Ittihad, and has been given numerous managerial awards for his achievements.
Now, Nuno starts his next journey in football in east London.
