West Ham United were beaten 2-0 by Brentford at London Stadium on Monday night.
Igor Thiago's scrappy finish two minutes prior to the interval broke the London Stadium deadlock and came at the culmination of a period of strong Brentford pressure.
The Irons huffed and puffed without being able to seriously threaten the visitors' goal in the opening 45 minutes, until Jarrod Bowen's low shot from range was touched behind by Caoimhín Kelleher.
Brentford continued to boss affairs after the break, and after Kevin Schade headed against the crossbar from close in, they eventually sealed their victory in stoppage time.
Keane Lewis-Potter got to the by-line and cut back for Mathias Jensen to lash into the net.
