West Ham United took an early lead, but three Chelsea goals before the break have given the visitors control of our 2025/26 home opener.
Lucas Paquetá's stunning sixth-minute strike had London Stadium rocking, as he smashed a swerving left-footed drive from 25 yards into the top right hand corner of Robert Sánchez's net.
But Chelsea hit back nine minutes later, as Marc Cucurella flicked Pedro Neto's corner on for João Pedro to nod home.
West Ham thought they had re-established their advantage two minutes later, only for a VAR check to show Jean-Clair Todibo was offside in the build-up to Niclas Füllkrug blasting home.
And their mood was worsened on 23 minutes when Pedro Neto stole in to convert João Pedro's cross from close range.
Then, with 34 minutes on the clock, a swift attack down the right ended with Estêvão cutting the ball back for an Enzo Fernández tap in.
