Crystal Palace lead West Ham United 1-0 after 45 minutes at London Stadium.
Jean-Philippe Mateta nodded the opening goal of the contest on 37 minutes, pouncing after Marc Guéhi's header from a left-wing corner bounced off Maximilian Kilman and struck the Hammers' crossbar.
It was the only noteworthy action of a quiet opening period, and Graham Potter will be demanding more from his side going forward as we head into the second period.
