Matchday Gallery | Irons trail Bees in second half

West Ham United will need to come from behind to claim a positive result in Nuno's first home game as Head Coach after falling behind before the break.

Igor Thiago's scrappy finish two minutes prior to the interval broke the London Stadium deadlock and came at the culmination of a period of strong Brentford pressure.

The Irons have huffed and puffed without being able to seriously threaten the visitors' goal in the first 45, until Jarrod Bowen's low shot from range was touched behind by Caoimhín Kelleher, and Nuno will be demanding more from his men on the restart.

Indeed, his half-time team talk could have been even more difficult, had it not been for a VAR intervention ruling out a second Igor Thiago strike for offside on the stroke of the interval.
