AFC Bournemouth v West Ham United
Premier League, Vitality Stadium, Saturday 22 November 2025, 3pm GMT
Referee: Tom Bramall
Assistant Referees: Constantine Hatzidakis and Mat Wilkes
Fourth Official: John Busby
VAR: Michael Oliver
Assistant VAR: James Mainwaring
Tom Bramall has been confirmed as the referee for West Ham United’s Premier League trip to AFC Bournemouth on Saturday.
The Sheffield native worked as a PE teacher before turning his hand to officiating in professional football, and he first refereed in the EFL during the 2018/19 season.
A serious anterior cruciate ligament injury, sustained in the summer of 2019, threatened Bramall’s career, but he recovered to be promoted to the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) Select Group One ahead of 2022/23.
He held the whistle during the 2021/22 FA Trophy final, that saw Bromley beat Wrexham 1-0 at Wembley, before making his debut in the Premier League a few months later, when Fulham beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 in August 2022.
To date, he has refereed on 36 occasions in the English top-flight, including six times so far this term. Saturday’s match on the South Coast will be the first time he has taken charge of a West Ham game in 2025/26, though he was the man in the middle during our visits to Brentford and Nottingham Forest last season.
Constantine Hatzidakis and Mat Wilkes have been named as the assistant referees for the hotly-anticipated Vitality Stadium clash. The duo are vastly experienced in the Premier League, having ran the line in the division on 267 and 203 occasions respectively.
Both men have been involved in two Irons matches so far this season, with Hatzidakis working during our visits to Everton and Leeds United, and Wilkes assisting at our trips to Sunderland and Arsenal.
John Busby will undertake fourth official duties this weekend.
A hugely experienced referee in the EFL, Busby was promoted to Select Group Two for the 2021/22 season, while he oversaw the FA Vase final in May 2021. He has worked as a fourth official in the Premier League on 31 occasions, including twice during 2025/26.
Michael Oliver - who is among the Premier League’s most experienced officials - is set to oversee Video Assistant Referee duties, and he will be assisted by James Mainwaring.
