West Ham United can confirm that Joseph Anang has joined EFL League One side Derby County on a season-long loan.
The goalkeeper has been recalled from his loan spell with League of Ireland Premier Division side St Patrick’s Athletic, where he made 29 appearances in all competitions and helped them to reach the Third Qualifying Round of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
The 22-year-old joins a Derby side that have won two and lost one of their opening three league outings this campaign, with the Rams beating Barnsley 2-1 at Pride Park on Saturday.
Anang joined West Ham United as an Academy scholar in 2017 and signed professional terms a year later. The shot-stopper has been a regular feature for the Club’s U21s in recent campaigns, prior to his loan to St Patrick’s Athletic earlier this year.
Everyone at West Ham United wishes Joseph all the best for his loan with Derby County.
