Dinos Mavropanos, Mads Hermansen and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have all been called up by their respective countries for the next bout of FIFA World Cup qualifying action in October.
Mavropanos of Greece and Denmark's Hermansen could in fact line up against each other, with the two nations set to face off in next month's second round of games in UEFA Group C, at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, at 7.45pm BST on Sunday 12 October.
Before that, Mavropanos - who has started each of West Ham United's last five matches in all competitions - will look to add to his tally of 38 caps when he and the rest of Ivan Jovanović's 24-man squad travel to Glasgow's Hampden Park to take on Scotland at 7.45pm BST on Thursday 9 October.
Greece currently sit third in the group, one spot behind Scotland, following a 5-1 victory over bottom side Belarus and a 3-0 home defeat by leaders Denmark in September.
With only one automatic qualification spot up for grabs, and second place earning advancement to the play-offs, Hermansen and Denmark will be looking to strengthen their hopes of progressing to next year's World Cup finals in North America, against Greece and beforehand when they travel to Zalaegerszeg in Hungary to take on Belarus at 7.45pm BST on Thursday 9 October.
Having been a regular in the Denmark squad over the last couple of years, Hermansen is still waiting to make his first senior appearance for the 1992 European champions, and he will be looking to push compatriots Kasper Schmeichel and Filip Jörgensen for gametime again over the coming weeks.
While Greece and Denmark are set to conclude their UEFA Group C campaigns with two further fixtures in November, over in Africa, Wan-Bissaka and the Democratic Republic of the Congo are set to contest their final two CAF Group B games in October, with their hopes of automatic World Cup qualification in the balance.
Les Léopards currently sit second in the six-team table after eight outings, one place and two points behind El Hadji Malick Diouf's Senegal, who defeated them 3-2 in Kinshasa on 9 September. In each group in African qualification, top spot automatically earns a World Cup place, with the four best runners-up from the nine groups drawn into a second round, the winner of which will qualify for inter-confederation play-offs, to be played in Spring next year.
Wan-Bissaka - who has missed the Hammers' last three matches - will be hoping to add to his two international caps and strengthen his country's claims for success in their away clash against fourth-place Togo, at 2pm BST on Friday 10 October, and then at home to third-place Sudan at 8pm BST on Tuesday 14 October.
