West Ham United U23s' nine-game unbeaten run in all competitions came to an end on Monday evening as Leicester City U23s ran out 2-1 winners at the Rush Green Stadium.
It was injury time heartbreak again for the young Hammers, as it was in the reverse fixture back in November. Foxes striker Wanya Marcal-Madivadua slotted home calmly in the 89th minute to condemn Mark Robson's side to just their third league defeat.
The Irons had battled back from conceding an early opener after a defensive mix-up through a superb strike from Sonny Perkins.
