U21s celebrate versus Wolverhampton

Highlights: U21s 3-1 Wolves

West Ham United U21s claimed a vital first Premier League 2 win of the season with an impressive 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Kamarai Sywer's fourth goal of the season gave the Irons a deserved lead on 27 minutes, when the midfielder latched onto Harrison Ashby's low cross to find the back of the net via the inside of the woodwork.

The score was levelled ten minutes later when a cross into the West Ham United penalty area by Lee McLoughlin was unfortunately turned into the goal by Ashby, as he attempted to clear the ball.

The Hammers continued to press for for the lead in the second half and eventually got their second through Divin Mubama, who confidently slotted home from the penalty spot on 81 minutes after a hand-ball in the area.

The striker had his second - and West Ham's third - three minutes later, latching onto Keenan Appiah-Forson's saved strike to tuck in, ensuring the three points for the Irons.
