West Ham United can confirm that Frederik Alves has joined Brøndby IF on a permanent transfer.
The Denmark U21 international moves home to his native Denmark after 13 months in east London.
Alves joined the Hammers from Danish club Silkeborg in December 2020 and totaled 12 Premier League 2 Division 1 appearances last season. He spent the summer with his country at the UEFA European U21 Championship finals, where Denmark reached the quarter-finals.
The 22-year-old spent the first half of this season on loan at Sunderland in EFL League One, where he featured three times in the League, twice in the Papa John's Trophy, once in the Emirates FA Cup and three times in the Carabao Cup.
The Club would like to thank Frederik for his efforts and wish him all the best for his future career.
