West Ham United can confirm that young goalkeeper Finlay Herrick has joined Boreham Wood on a season-long loan.
The 19-year-old joins the Enterprise National League side in what will be his first senior loan spell.
The young shot stopper, at West Ham United since the age of six, will join The Wood for their first season back in the fifth tier since their relegation in 2023/24.
An England youth international, Herrick has featured for the Young Lions in four different age groups since making his debut for the U16s in 2021. Most recently, he received a maiden U20s call-up for the September international break.
The only goalkeeper nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Season award, Herrick finished the 2024/25 campaign as the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets in the 26-team division (7). He also earned five England U19 caps, including two shutouts in UEFA U19 European qualifiers as the Young Lions qualified for the tournament in Romania.
Everyone at West Ham United wishes Finlay the very best for his loan spell and looks forward to monitoring his continued development with Boreham Wood.
