Fantasy Premier League - Gameweek 32 hints and tips

West Ham United continue their 2023/24 Premier League campaign against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, seeking a return to winning ways at the start of arguably their most important run of fixtures this season in the race for European qualification.

The Hammers came from behind to claim a hard-fought point against local rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday evening, with captain Kurt Zouma heading home to cancel out Brennan Johnson’s early opener.

A 3-0 win in the reverse fixture at London Stadium in December saw the Irons continue their recent dominance against Wolves, and David Moyes’ charges will be confident of a positive result in the West Midlands, having won five of the last seven matches against Saturday’s opponents.

With so much to play for, both sides will be full of individuals looking to provide the touch of magic required to make the difference on the day, meaning there are a number of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) decisions to be made in the lead up to kick-off.

The Gameweek 32 transfer deadline is set for 11am on Saturday 6 April, ahead of a mouth-watering feast of weekend action that begins two-and-a-half hours before West Ham’s clash at Molineux.

While we will be giving you FPL tips and tricks throughout the remainder of the 2023/24 season on whufc.com, see below for some of our picks for the upcoming round…

For the next fixture, all eyes are on Michail Antonio.

Stand back and watch him go, Michail Antonio…

Michail Antonio (£5.7m) could make his 300th Club appearance for West Ham United on Saturday, and you wouldn’t put it past him to score yet another goal.

It was a long road back to the pitch for the 34-year-old, who was sidelined through injury between November and February, but since his return he has been an important figure in the Hammers’ recent showings.

Antonio has scored two goals in his last four games, while having a second 'goal’ disallowed against Aston Villa, and would have been disappointed not to have netted against Tottenham in midweek.

He has returned 18 points in his last three fixtures, and you’d be brave to bet against him being influential for the Irons once again this weekend at Molineux.

Other options for West Ham this weekend include Jarrod Bowen (£7.9m), who is always hard to ignore in his current run of form.

Bowen has 28 goal involvements in all competitions this season, is the Club's top scorer in 2023/24, and has registered 164 FPL points this term, more than any other West Ham player by some margin.

Opposition watch: Wolverhampton Wanderers

Rayan Aït-Nouri (£4.7m) is the third-most bought defender ahead of the Gameweek 32 deadline, and it’s not hard to see why given his recent performances and the more attacking role he has been handed.

Rayan Ait-Nouri

Manager Gary O’Neil has deployed Aït-Nouri on the left wing in recent weeks, and we’ve also seen him even playing as a centre forward, as seen with his goal against Burnley on Tuesday evening.

Aït-Nouri has registered 67 FPL points this season, with 30 of them coming in his last five games. He has two goals and has provided an assist in his last five Premier League outings. He also scored a goal before laying on an assist in Wolves’ FA Cup defeat to Coventry City last month.

Just ahead of Aït-Nouri in attack is Matheus Cunha (£5.5m), who could prove a shrewd addition to any team on his return from injury.

The striker, who has scored eleven goals in all competitions this season, has made a rapid recovery from a hamstring injury sustained in February and, if Wolves are to snatch a European spot, you would imagine their club-record signing will play a leading role.

A hat-trick in the 4-2 win at Chelsea, just before his injury, accumulated an eye-catching 17 FPL points, and underlined the Brazilian’s progress made under O’Neil.
