On This Day: Nolan's acrobatics cap comeback win over Southampton

Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with Heineken.

Captain Kevin Nolan's acrobatic strike capped a fine come-from-behind 3-1 Premier League win over Southampton on this day in 2014.

West Ham United fell behind to Maya Yoshida's goal on eight minutes, but were ahead by half-time thanks to two goals in the space of four minutes from Matt Jarvis and Carlton Cole.

Rickie Lambert hit a post for the Saints, but any hopes the visitors had of snatching a draw were dashed when Nolan made the game safe with 19 minutes remaining. There was still time for Mohamed Diamé to hit the crossbar for the Irons, whose victory saw them rise to tenth in the table.
