Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history...

After a sticky start to the 1994/95 season, West Ham gave themselves a boost by chalking up a second straight league win with victory against Crystal Palace on this date in the calendar.

A single goal was all that separated the teams at the Boleyn Ground, with Don Hutchison's flying header delighting the majority of the 17,000 fans in attendance.

Later in the season the Eagles exacted their revenge with a 1-0 win of their own at Selhurst Park, but it wasn't enough to keep them in the division as they occupied the last spot in the relegation zone.

Enjoy Hutchison's goal again in the video player above.
