Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with Heineken...

West Ham United won promotion back to the Premier League after beating Blackpool 2-1 at Wembley Stadium on this day in 2012.

Carlton Cole had given the Hammers the lead just past the half-hour mark with a well-taken goal, but Tom Ince scored two minutes after the restart with an almost carbon copy of the opener.

It would be the Irons who had the last word, though, as three minutes from time, Ricardo Vaz Tê pounced on a loose ball in the box to fire into the roof of the net and send his team back to the top flight.

Enjoy the goals again in the video player above!
