On This Day: Chicharito, Diop and Antonio secure derby victory

Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, presented by Heineken...

West Ham United came from a goal down to beat Fulham in controversial circumstances on this day in 2019.

Ryan Babel fired the Cottagers into a third-minute lead at London Stadium, raising hopes that Claudio Ranieri's side could score a shock win in east London and boost their hopes of avoiding relegation.

Chicharito pulled West Ham level on 29 minutes, but replays showed he had converted with his left arm from a yard out.

Issa Diop's powerful header put the Hammers in front five minutes before half-time to put Fulham on the back foot.

Marko Arnautović saw a shot tipped onto the crossbar before Michal Antonio completed the turnaround a minute into added-time at the end of the second half, converting the Austrian's pass to make the final score 3-1.

West Ham went ninth in the table with this win, above Everton, while Fulham remained 19th and on course to be relegated.

Manuel Pellegrini's Irons went on to finish tenth in the table with 52 points.
