On This Day: Bowen and Antonio goals down West Brom

Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with Heineken...

Goals from the familiar sources of Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio helped West Ham United see off Sam Allardyce's West Bromwich Albion at London Stadium exactly a year ago.

The Hammers had to dig deep to overcome the struggling Baggies, but a goal in each half were ultimately enough to ensure all three points remained in east London.

Bowen diverted Vladimír Coufal's cross past Sam Johnstone with his chest to give the Irons the lead four minutes before the break.

Matheus Pereira's goal pulled Big Sam's side level six minutes after half-time, but David Moyes' hosts scored the all-important third goal of the game midway through the second half when Andriy Yarmolenko headed Aaron Cresswell's cross into the six-yard box and Antonio expertly volleyed past Johnstone.
