Michail Antonio and Jesse Lingard were on target on this day in 2021 to secure a memorable derby victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
Antonio gave the Hammers a fifth-minute lead, converting from close range after Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris parried his initial effort.
Lingard doubled the advantage two minutes after the restart, combining with Pablo Fornals before firing across Lloris. Although an offside flag was raised, a VAR check allowed the goal to stand.
Lucas Moura pulled one back for the visitors, who pushed hard for a leveller, but David Moyes' men held out for a 2-1 victory - one which maintained our push for an eventual sixth-place Premier League finish.
