Callum Marshall wins Huddersfield Town Player of the Year award

In his first full season out on loan, West Ham United forward Callum Marshall has been named Huddersfield Town’s Player of the Year for the 2024/25 EFL League One campaign.

Netting on his full league debut against Shrewsbury Town in August, Marshall has racked up nine goals and three assists in 43 league appearances for the Terriers, and sits top of the club's scoring charts with one game to go.

Impressive goalscoring numbers for a player his age, Marshall is currently the third highest goalscorer in the top three divisions aged 20 or under with nine goals, only trailing Millwall’s Mihailo Ivanović and Crawley Town’s Kamari Doyle, on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion, both with ten.

But it’s not just his goal contributions that have earned Marshall plaudits. Huddersfield fans have consistently praised the Northern Ireland international for his drive, hard work and passion on the pitch. He has given everything in a blue-and-white shirt, even during a challenging end to the campaign that has seen the Terriers relinquish their play-off spot having been third in January, with defeats in 14 of their last 20 games.

Everyone at West Ham United would like to congratulate Callum on winning the award and looks forward to welcoming him back to the Club this summer.
