Go behind the scenes of Mads Hermansen’s first 24 hours as a Hammer!
The 25-year-old goalkeeper completed his move to West Ham United on Saturday, just half-an-hour before the Irons kicked off their final pre-season clash of the summer against LOSC Lille.
A Denmark youth international, who has featured in multiple senior squads for the 1992 European champions, Hermansen made a surprise appearance at London Stadium shortly after signing, and was warmly welcomed by the Claret and Blue faithful.
The West Ham TV cameras were on hand to document his first steps as a West Ham player, as our new No1 first checked out the Rush Green training ground, before signing his contract, fulfilling his media duties and heading over to Stratford.
Hermansen will now be looking forward to getting stuck into training with his new teammates this week, ahead of the big Premier League opener away at Sunderland on Saturday 16 August.
