A 90th-minute strike from Kamarai Swyer ensured the Hammers claimed all three points in the Group F encounter, moving Dmitri Halajko's side up to second in the table.
An entertaining contest in east London saw the visitors lead in both halves, but the Irons managed to rally on each occasion to get themselves back level.
As time waned the ball broke to Swyer on the edge of the box and the attacking midfielder made no mistake with a low drive, securing a deserved victory for the boys in Claret and Blue.
