West Ham United U23s’ pair of Premier League 2 Division 1 fixtures against Manchester City U23s have been reversed in order.

The young Hammers were due to take on the reigning champions, and current table-toppers, on Saturday 20 November 2021 (away) and Sunday 20 February 2022 (at home) respectively.

The order of those two games has now been reversed, meaning that the first time those two sides will meet this season will be a home game for West Ham’s U23s.

This will take place on Saturday 20 November at Rush Green Stadium, with kick-off set for 1pm.

The return game will see the young Hammers travel to the City’s Academy Stadium on Friday 18 February 2022, with kick-off also at 1pm.

Dmitri Halajko’s West Ham development squad have made a fine start to their 2021/22 campaign and sit third in the Premier League 2 table after seven matches, three and four points behind Arsenal and Manchester City respectively.

Supporters should note that U23s and U18s home fixtures are currently due to be played behind closed doors until further notice.

Only key personnel will be admitted on site at Rush Green Stadium and Little Heath Sports Ground until further notice, and matches at either ground are currently due to be played with only key personnel and a small number of invited guests present.
