Pablo Fornals' final-day brace against Southampton has helped the West Ham United midfielder claim a spot in the FIFA 21 Team of the Week.
The Spaniard was superb in the Hammers' 3-0 win over the Saints on Sunday afternoon, scoring twice in quick succession in the first half and winning the ball back for Declan Rice in the lead-up to the captain's late clincher.
That result helped topped a quietly influential campaign for Fornals, who has recorded five goals and assisted four more as West Ham sealed a top-six finish in the Premier League - and thus Europa League football next season.
Fornals also played a part in all three goals scored by the Irons in the 3-1 win over West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns last week, and as a result, became the eleventh West Ham United selection in the FIFA 21 Team of the Week this season.
Tomáš Souček has enjoyed three previous Team of the Week nods, along with two each for Jesse Lingard and Angelo Ogbonna, and further nominations for Jarrod Bowen, Lukasz Fabianski, and Vladimir Coufal. Souček was also named in the Premier League Team of the Season.
In keeping with his teammates, therefore, the midfielder has received an in-game Team of the Week ‘in-form’ card, boosting his overall rating within FIFA Ultimate Team up to 82 from an initial 79.
Fornals' FIFA card now boasts a shooting rating of 82 (up from an initial 76), passing rated at 82 (up from 78) and dribbling rated at 82 (up from 79).
Other key boosts see Fornals pace increased to 73 (from 68); defensive attributes to 73 (from 70) and physical attributes to 70 (from 67).
West Ham United fans will be able to collect his Team of the Week card in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team packs as of 6pm on Wednesday 26 May. The card will be available until 5.59pm on Wednesday 2 June.
