Tickets are on sale for West Ham United U23s’ upcoming pre-season fixtures away at Southend United (Friday 23 July) and Crawley Town (Monday 26 July).
Dmitri Halajko’s development squad – the majority of whom have received first-team minutes and opportunities in recent weeks – are continuing their build-up to the new Premier League 2 season with a pair of away trips to face senior opposition.
On Friday (23 July), the young Hammers make the short journey to Roots Hall to take on National League side Southend United, who are managed by Phil Brown.
West Ham’s development squad last faced the Essex-based side on the same ground in last season’s Papa John’s Trophy group stages, winning 3-1 on the opening day of the 2020/21 season.
Tickets can be purchased from Southend United on the phone (08444 770077) or from the Southend Ticket Office. Tickets will also be on sale on the day of the game up until kick-off.

The young Hammers will then have two days to recover before travelling to The People’s Pension Stadium to face EFL League Two team Crawley Town – scheduled to kick off at 7pm on Monday 26 July.
Halajko will have equally happy memories of visiting the ground in recent years, having seen off Brighton & Hove Albion U23s at the same stadium in November 2019 – a result which booked West Ham’s place in the Premier League International Cup quarter-finals that year.
