On This Day: Mark Noble scores his historic first West Ham United goal

Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with RoadX Tyres...

Mark Noble scored his first senior West Ham United goal on this day 14 years ago!

The midfielder was just 19 when he fired the Hammers into the lead in an FA Cup third-round tie with Brighton & Hove Albion at the Boleyn Ground on 6 January 2007.

Noble's strike from Carlos Tevez's assist set the Irons on their way to a 3-0 victory over the Seagulls, with Carlton Cole and Hayden Mullins adding further goals for Alan Curbishley's side.

The Canning Town-born player has since gone on to score 60 times in Claret and Blue and now ranks seventh on the Club's all-time appearance list with 511.
