Jesse Lingard's debut delight at Villa Park has earned the West Ham United forward a spot in the FIFA 21 Team of the Week.
The England international becomes the sixth Hammer to receive the accolade this season. It is also the eighth occasion this season where a West Ham player has featured in the FIFA 21 Team of the Week.
Against Aston Villa last Wednesday, Lingard was handed his first Premier League start of 2020/21, just five days after joining on loan from Manchester United.
The 28-year-old had quite the impact, scoring twice on the breakaway to secure a 3-1 victory and earn rave reviews in his first appearance in a West Ham shirt.
In keeping with teammates Jarrod Bowen, Lukasz Fabianski, Vladimir Coufal, Angelo Ogbonna and Tomáš Souček (the latter two both being upgraded twice), Lingard has received an in-game Team of the Week ‘in-form’ card.
This accolades increases his overall rating within FIFA Ultimate Team up to 81, from an initial 'base' rating of 77.
The versatile forward's FIFA card now boasts strong ratings in pace (82, up from 77), shooting (80, up from 74), dribbling (83, up from 78) and passing (79, up from 74).
Lingard is also classed as a Central Attacking Midfielder (CAM) in the game - an important position in many popular FIFA 21 formations.
West Ham United fans will be able to collect Lingard's Team of the Week card in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team packs as of 6pm on Wednesday 10 February. The card will be available until 5.59pm on Wednesday 17 February.
