Craig Dawson has been nominated for the EA Sports Premier League Player of the Month award for January.

The West Ham United defender only made his debut at Southampton on 29 December and settled into David Moyes’ side immediately, helping his team keep a clean sheet at St Mary’s Stadium.

The 30-year-old backed that up by helping the Hammers keep clean sheets in 1-0 wins at Everton and home to Burnley.
