West Ham United U23s concluded their pre-season programme with a hard fought 2-1 win over local rivals Millwall U23s at the Rush Green Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
Second-half goals from Dan Chesters and Kamarai Swyer put the young Hammers in control but the visitors fought valiantly and got themselves back into the contest through Nana Boateng.
A tense finish ensued but Dmitri Halajko's side stood firm to finish their pre-season preparations with a victory.
West Ham United U23s kick-off their Premier League 2 Division 1 campaign against Arsenal at the London Stadium on Monday 16 August. Kick-off is at 7pm.
