Team News: David Moyes gives update ahead of West Ham United's clash with Chelsea

David Moyes and Jesse Lingard

David Moyes has confirmed that Jesse Lingard is fit and raring to go for Saturday's Premier League derby against Chelsea.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, the manager said the England attacker is feeling no ill-effects of the cramp which forced him from the action at Newcastle United a couple of minutes before the end a week ago.

Elsewhere, Moyes expects to be able to choose from a similar squad to the one he had at his disposal at St James' Park, although Craig Dawson will be added to the absentee list due to suspension.

"We're very much the same as we were last week," Moyes said. "We've got one or two getting closer to fitness. I'm not sure whether they'll make it or not, but I'm hoping that maybe we could get somebody back.

"Jesse had a bit of cramp at Newcastle, which at the time we didn't see as being too big a problem and he's fine.

"I'm hoping that somewhere along the line we can get Micky, Declan, Aaron Cresswell and Arthur back in amongst it because they've been important players for us throughout the year. We're aware that if we can get them back it would help us.

"Aaron is getting closer, we'll monitor it, see how he feels tomorrow and see how we think."
