In Pictures: Hammers hard at work in St Andrews

West Ham United's training camp in Scotland got off to a busy start on Monday as David Moyes' squad went through a triple training session.

After a Sunday evening flight, the boss wasted no time in putting the players to work as they kicked off the day with an early morning run at a very misty beach.

After a short break to fuel up at breakfast, the team hit the training pitches for a series of intense drills as the players got a feel for the football again as preparations begin to ramp up for the new campaign.

The graft wasn't finished there for the blend of senior players and Academy starlets on the camp - West Ham's internationals, alongside a handful of players on individual programmes are yet to link up with the squad - had a second outside running session to close the day in the afternoon.
