Team news: Haller leads the line in Charlton Carabao Cup tie

Sebastien Haller leads the line for West Ham United in their Carabao Cup second round tie against Charlton Athletic on Tuesday night.

The Frenchman is one of ten changes to the side which started against Newcastle United on Saturday, with only Issa Diop remaining from that XI.

Hammers boss David Moyes nevertheless calls upon a wealth of experience in his team, with former Charlton man Darren Randolph starting in goal.

Ben Johnson, Fabian Balbuena and Arthur Masuaku join Diop in the home side's defence.

Another ex-Charlton man, Josh Cullen - who spent the last two seasons on loan at The Valley - starts in midfield, alongside Robert Snodgrass and Manuel Lanzini, who both make their first appearances of the season.

In attack, Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko will offer support to Haller as the Hammers look to book a home third round tie against Leeds United or Hull City.

A number of Hammers youngsters get their chance on the bench for Tuesday's tie, with defenders Ajibola Alese and Harrison Ashby hoping to make their first team bows. while fellow Academy star Conor Coventry is also at Moyes' disposal.
