West Ham Esports to take on Slavia Prague in FIFA friendly

West Ham Esports v Slavia Prague Esports

West Ham Esports will continue their preparations for the new 2020/21 FIFA season with a friendly match against Slavia Prague Esports on Monday evening.

Represented by PlayStation4 player Curtis ‘Paps’ Poole, the Irons will face a best-of-three match against the newly-formed Czech Esports outfit, whose representative will be 18-year-old Jakub ‘Cpt.Kubajz’ Pudil.

The matches will kick-off at 6pm UK time on Monday 9 November, and you can watch them live on whufc.com or through the West Ham Esports Twitch channel (which can you follow to receive notifications as to when the stream goes live).

The Hammers have hugely positive recent history with Slavia Prague, with both clubs celebrating the successes of Saturday’s last-minute goalscoring hero Tomáš Souček and solid defender Vladimír Coufal in Claret and Blue.

Both players developed at the Red and Whites prior to making the switch to east London, and have settled in seamlessly to life in the Premier League, much to Slavia Prague fans’ delight.

Now, the two clubs will come face-to-face on the virtual pitch in Paps’ first official standalone FIFA match – albeit a friendly – as a West Ham Esports player.
