On Saturday afternoon, West Ham United returned to Premier League action as they fell to a late 2-0 loss against Wolverhampton Wanderers at London Stadium.

Played behind closed doors for supporters and players’ safety alike, the historic match was the first competitive West Ham fixture in June since 1942, but ultimately ended in defeat.

Take a look at a selection of pictures from the Hammers’ first top-flight encounter in 105 days - and only their second ever competitive home fixture without fans - in our gallery above.

Support the Club, stay safe, and follow at home.
