Josh Cullen’s loan spell with EFL Championship club Charlton Athletic has been extended until the end of the 2019/20 season.
The EFL has confirmed that the Championship season is set to resume on Saturday 20 June 2020.
Republic of Ireland international Cullen has made 25 appearances for Charlton this season, anchoring the Addicks’ midfield under manager – and former Hammer – Lee Bowyer.
Cullen also spent the majority of the 2018/19 season with the south London club, helping them clinch promotion through the League One Play-Offs.
He will now hope to play an integral part in guiding Charlton out of the Championship relegation zone, where they currently sit two points from safety with nine games remaining.
