Michail Antonio named in FIFA Team of the Week

Michail Antonio Team of the Week

Michail Antonio has become the sixth West Ham United star to be awarded a special FIFA Ultimate Team card this season, following his four-goal haul at Norwich City.

After netting all four goals as the Irons bettered the Canaries 4-0 on Saturday, the Hammers’ No30 has been named in the 41st Team of the Week in EA SPORTS’ FIFA 20.

As a result of his devastating display, Antonio has been rewarded with an ‘in-form’ card in FIFA Ultimate Team, which rockets his overall base rating of 78 – as a right midfielder - up to 82 in the striker position.

The new FUT card will be made available in packs from 6pm today (Wednesday), and sees Antonio’s aggregated pace stats boosted from 85 to 90; shooting from 72 to 79; and dribbling from 78 to 84.

Elsewhere, Antonio’s physicality goes up from 82 to a storming 87, while his passing and defensive attributes rise from 73 and 56 up to 78 and 59 respectively.

With Team of the Week celebrating the best players in world football over the last seven days, Antonio joins the likes of Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal, Sevilla’s Ever Banega, Manchester City’s David Silva and AC Milan’s Franck Kessie in the list of standout performers.

Antonio becomes the sixth West Ham player to be awarded a special card, following in the footsteps of three Hammers - Aaron Cresswell, Mark Noble and Robert Snodgrass – all being named in previous Team of the Week squads.

Angelo Ogbonna’s excellent season was rewarded in March with a Flashback SBC card for players to claim, while Felipe Anderson was named in the FIFA Community Team of the Season So Far in April, receiving West Ham’s highest-rated card at an incredible 92 overall rating.
