On This Day: Payet and Emenike at the double in Blackburn win

Take a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with Basset & Gold.

Dimitri Payet took centre-stage as West Ham United came from a goal down to thump Blackburn Rovers 5-1 in the FA Cup fifth round on this day in 2016.

The France international scored a trademark free-kick and completed the scoring with a sensational individual goal as Slaven Bilic's Hammers ran riot at Ewood Park.

Ben Marshall put the Championship side in front on 20 minutes, before Victor Moses equalised and Payet put the Irons ahead with a curling 30-yard set piece.

Nigeria forward Emmanuel Emenike netted twice after half-time before Payet sealed a convincing victory by running from halfway before beating Rovers goalkeeper Jason Steele from the edge of the penalty area.
