New date announced for rearranged FA WSL Manchester City match

West Ham United's Kate Longhurst vies for the ball against Manchester City

West Ham United will host Manchester City in the rearranged Barclays FA Women's Super League match on Wednesday 22 April.

The match had been due to take place on Sunday 9 February, but the adverse weather conditions prompted by Storm Ciara saw the fixture postponed for supporters' safety on the morning of the contest.

Matt Beard's Hammers will now welcome the current league leaders to Rush Green Stadium at the end of April, with kick-off set for 7.30pm.

Following the visit of Manchester City, West Ham will themselves be on their travels as they take on Everton at Walton Hall Park four days later.

Tickets already purchased for the postponed fixture will be honoured for the rearranged fixture, with full ticketing information to be confirmed in due course.
