Highlights: Luton Town U18s 3-3 West Ham United U18s (WHU win 4-2 on pens)

West Ham United U18s progressed into the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup on Thursday night with a dramatic penalty shoot-out victory against Luton Town U18s at Kenilworth Road.

After a hugely entertaining and hard-fought 120 minutes of football, the scores were level at 3-3, but the young Hammers were able to hold their nerve and triumph 4-2 in the shoot-out.

Kevin Keen's U18s were in front after just two minutes through Kamarai Swyer's headed finish, and the youngsters extended their advantage not long after through a glorious free-kick from Jayden Fevrier.

The hosts rallied and brought it back to 2-2 before the interval, Tyrelle Newton firing home from close range before Ben Stevens' thunderous effort rattled in off the bar.

West Ham United dominated the ball in the second period, yet struggled to turn their chances into goals as the Hatters stood firm and the match headed for extra-time.

Shortly after the resumption, Fevrier put the Irons back into the lead, the 17-year-old rounding off a neat passing move with a finish high into the roof of the net.

Luton's resilience showed once more after falling, a loose ball dropping to Stevens to add his second of the night and sending the match to a penalty shoot-out in the process.

Fevrier, Swyer, Divin Mubama and Michael Forbes all stepped up with confidence to fire their spot-kicks home, whilst Krisztian Hegyi produced two acrobatic saves to see the Hammers through to the next round.
