Young West Ham United supporter Harry Smith may have had to spend his eighth birthday in lockdown - but his favourite player was on hand to ensure it was still a memorable one.
Declan Rice called Harry on Zoom to wish him a Happy Birthday and invite him and his dad to a game when normality resumes.
Harry was delighted to chat with his hero and tell him about the new bike he received, along with his footballing feats for Kent-based team Hernhill Herons.
