Revealed: Your top 5 West Ham United goals at London Stadium

Last week, we asked West Ham United supporters to select their favourite of the 123 goals the Hammers have registered at London Stadium.

From acrobatic feats to electrifying team moves, stupendous strikes to scintillating solo efforts, Claret and Blue-clad supporters have had plenty of moments to savour since their new home opened in July 2016.

After almost four seasons at London Stadium, West Ham have netted 98 times in the Premier League, 15 times in the EFL Cup, three times each in the FA Cup and UEFA Europa League qualifiers, and four times in friendly matches.

With those strikes narrowed down to a shortlist of 20, Irons fans voted in their droves in our whufc.com poll - and we're now proud to reveal the Club's top five goals at the ground, as voted by you.

You can enjoy the top five in all their glory above.

5. Declan Rice v Arsenal - 12/1/19

Declan Rice against Arsenal 2019

What a time to score your first goal as a West Ham United senior footballer.

Then-19-year-old Rice had already impressed hugely with his performance just two weeks after penning a new contract with the Club, but the Academy graduate would add the gloss to a domineering display with a fine first-time finish from Samir Nasri's lay-off, high into the corner of Bernd Leno's net.

The goal shortly after half-time settled a tight London derby and, falling in the Hammers' 50th Premier League game at London Stadium, boosted them up to ninth in the top-flight table.

4. Aaron Cresswell v Manchester United - 22/9/19

Aaron Cresswell v Manchester United

Just seconds before Aaron Cresswell stepped up to the free-kick from 25 yards out, the left-back shared a smile with team-mate Andriy Yarmolenko - the left-back had fired over from a similar position merely moments prior.

But with a swish of his left foot, that joy was shared across the whole squad and 60,000 bellowing West Ham United supporters, Cresswell's perfectly executed set-piece finding David de Gea's top corner to send London Stadium into rapture.

That Cresswell's brilliant goal secured a 2-0 Premier League win over the red side of Manchester merely made it all the sweeter.

3. Manuel Lanzini v Tottenham - 5/5/17

Manuel Lanzini v Tottenham

Perhaps not the most aesthetically pleasing of all the goals at London Stadium - but certainly amongst the most raucously celebrated.

London rivals Tottenham visited London Stadium in May 2017 in the hunt for the Premier League title, but those hopes were dashed by a superb instinctive finish from playmaker Manuel Lanzini, who lashed home midway through the second half after a loose ball made its way through the penalty area.

The goal capped an excellent performance from the Argentine and the West Ham United team as a whole, getting London Stadium rocking as they jumped up to ninth in the Premier League table - and put their rivals to the sword in the process.

2. Dimitri Payet v Middlesbrough - 1/10/16

Dimitri Payet v Middlesbrough

From the moment Dimitri Payet broke into the Middlesbrough penalty area, a goal from his boot - somehow, some way - seemed inevitable.

Just six minutes after the Hammers had fallen behind to their visitors from Teeside, the Frenchman hauled his side level in remarkable fashion, picking the ball up out wide, checking back and turning Antonio Barragan.

From there, Payet was simply irresistible; despite the best efforts of the diving Middlesbrough defenders, he feinted, jinked, threw in a stepover or two - and slotted home. Individual genius at its purest at London Stadium.

1. Andy Carroll v Crystal Palace - 14/1/17

Andy Carroll v Crystal Palace

Let's face it: goals like Andy Carroll's are few and far between in football as a whole, so when they do come along, they instantly become unforgettable.

The striker's scissor kick well and truly lit up London Stadium in early January 2017, turning a difficult cross from Michail Antonio into a tremendous feat of improvisation, athleticism and flair.

The strike had Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey beaten all ends up from the moment it left Carroll's boot, the No9 setting his side on the way to an excellent 3-0 win over their London rivals - and securing his place in Hammers folklore in a flash.
