Happy birthday Teddy! Watch every Sheringham goal for West Ham United!

It is hard to believe, but Teddy Sheringham celebrates his 57th birthday today!

The outstanding former England forward was already 38 when he joined West Ham United from Portsmouth in the summer of 2004.

But Sheringham rolled back the years to enjoy two sensational seasons in Claret and Blue, becoming the Club's oldest-ever debutant, finishing as leading scorer with 21 goals as West Ham won promotion in 2005, being voted Hammer of the Year in the process, then becoming the Premier League's oldest goalscorer!

In all, Sheringham scored 30 goals in 87 appearances across two-and-a-half memorable seasons, before finishing his career in the Championship with Essex club Colchester United.

In 2014, the Waltham Forest-born favourite returned to east London to work for a season as an attacking coach under manager Sam Allardyce, and he now splits his time between his family, media work and playing golf and poker.

Everyone at West Ham United would like to wish Teddy a happy birthday!
