Hammers host Vanquish Tech technology showcase

West Ham United and the Club’s Official IT Partner Vanquish Tech joined forces for a Hammers-themed charity technology showcase event, in partnership with their vendors.

Vanquish Tech, a value-added technology and Managed Service Provider with operations in London, Dubai, Cape Town and Florida, hosted a football tournament, dinner, Q&A, auction and tech talks in aid of two charities, the West Ham United Foundation and Spinal Injuries Association.

The event kicked-off with a tournament at the newly-redeveloped Academy of Football at Chadwell Heath, with each of the six teams being managed by either a current first-team player – Robert Snodgrass, Aaron Cresswell and Jack Wilshere – or Hammers legend – Carlton Cole, Marlon Harewood and Jack Collison.

When the football was over guests headed to London Stadium for a dinner event which featured a Q&A with the legends, a silent auction and tech talks from Vanquish Tech’s vendors.

The event was held in support of two incredible charities – The West Ham United Foundation and Spinal Injuries Association.

The Foundation promotes health and economic wellbeing by providing the best inclusive community engagement programmes in sports, education and inclusion.

The Spinal Injuries Association offers a pathway of support for spinal cord injured people and their families from the time of injury and throughout life.

Vanquish Tech CEO Simeon Taylor said the company was delighted to have raised thousands of pounds for two such good causes: “We are proud to show our support and raise money for these two life-changing charities that remain close to our heart.”
