Martin Samuelsen was on target as his loan club FK Haugesund secured their place in the Norwegian Cup quarter-finals with a 2-0 win over Strommen on Wednesday night.
Samuelsen extended his loan spell with his hometown club until December earlier this week and celebrated by extending his fine form in Norway's domestic cup competition.
The Hammers winger now has five goals in the tournament, taking his tally to seven in 16 appearances for Haugesund.
They needed extra-time to see off second tier Strommen on Wednesday, but eventually prevailed thanks to goals from Ibrahima Kone in the 112th minute and Samuelsen's strike four minutes later.
Haugesund return to league action on Sunday when they host Valerenga.
