The intensity ramped up a notch for West Ham United's players as they were put through a triple-session day on Thursday.

The Hammers were put through their paces morning, noon and evening at their training camp at Bad Ragaz in Switzerland.

The squad headed down to their base at the Sportsplatz Ri-Au pitches of local side FC Bad Ragaz for an early-morning interval-based running session, before returning to their hotel for breakfast.

Before long, they were back at the Ri-Au for a lunchtime strength and conditioning session, making use of their mobile gym facilities.

Then, following an afternoon to rest and recover, the team were once again out on the pitch at 5.30pm, where the footballs came out to conclude a varied and demanding day of training.

With the same planned for Friday, the Hammers' pre-season has well and truly begun.
