West Ham United women's midfielder Julia Simic has been voted the FA WSL PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans’ Player of the Month for December by football fans across the country.
In an online vote, the West Ham United Women’s striker won a tightly-fought content, receiving 27% of the vote for December with Chelsea’s versatile Magdalena Eriksson taking second place.
Simic scored twice in the month, helping the Hammers register a perfect three wins from three to move up the FA Women's Super League table.
The Germany international saw off competition from her teammate Gilly Flaherty, Chelsea's Eriksson, Fara Williams of Reading, and Manchester City duo Georgia Stanway and Ellie Roebuck to land the prize.
