On This Day: Downing and Carroll see off Foxes

Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with Basset & Gold...

West Ham United scored a 2-0 victory over Leicester City on this day in 2014.

The Foxes were struggling at the bottom of the Premier League table, while Sam Allardyce's Hammers were flying high in the top six after a superb opening few months of the 2014/15 season.

And that run continued as the Irons went fourth for Christmas, with Stewart Downing and Andy Carroll getting the goals in either half in front of a capacity Boleyn Ground crowd.

Enjoy the big moments from that game again here!
