On This Day: Hartson nets a match-winning brace

Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with Basset & Gold....

John Hartson's brace was enough to see off Blackburn Rovers at the Boleyn Ground on this day in 1998.

The Hammers striker netted twice inside the first 28 minutes to put the hosts in a commanding position in this Premier League clash, and although Jason Wilcox pulled one back on the stroke of half-time, West Ham saw the job through to win 2-1.

Enjoy Hartson's double again in our video above.
