Still time to book on the Foundation Fun Run!

Runners cross the finish line

With just over two weeks remaining until our Foundation Fun Run – and today being National Fitness Day – there’s no better time to book your place!

On Sunday 14 October, the Olympic Park will come alive with both runners and spectators, and there's something for everyone on the day!

Participants have the choice to complete a 5k, 10k or 1k route around Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in order to aid the Foundation’s support of vulnerable primary and secondary school pupils across Essex and East London.

For just £15 you can be part of the action or if you are under the age of 15, you can run for free! Register online at www.theraceorganiser.com

There are some fantastic incentives for attendees on offer, including:

  • All runners will be entered into a raffle to win a signed West Ham United football
  • The first 100 runners who sign up will be entered into a prize draw for a signed West Ham United shirt
  • FREE stadium tour and special edition 25 Years Bobby Moore training t-shirt for all fundraisers who raise over £250
  • The highest fundraiser will receive a free pair of tickets for a 2018/19 West Ham United home fixture

Established in 2014 in Bobby Moore's memory, the Moore Family Foundation has already provided life-changing opportunities for some 18,000 primary and secondary school students in Barking and Dagenham, Newham, Thurrock and Tower Hamlets.

As well as the walk or run, on the day there will be lots of fun for the whole family including inflatable penalty shootouts, face-painting, Bubbles the mascot and much more!

At the end of the journey each participant will receive a Moore Family Foundation goodie bag and finishers' medal. There will be photo opportunities throughout the route and on a podium at the finishing line too!

Moore Family Foundation Founder Roberta Moore is excited for this year’s run and the support it gives to the charity. She said: “Following the success and growing support for the Fun Run, we are all looking forward to this year’s event.

"We hope that as many as people as possible will join us in October and make it our best and most successful event. It is a great day for every member of the family with lots of atmosphere and camaraderie - there is so much to see and enjoy on the way round the course and all for such a great cause.”

We look forward to seeing you there!
